The brief
Carsooq is a car marketplace for the UAE. It serves two very different audiences: local buyers and sellers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and international buyers sourcing vehicles for export, including right-hand-drive cars for markets such as Nigeria.
The platform had to make thousands of listings from hundreds of showrooms easy to search, compare and act on, in English and Arabic.
AI search, in plain language
Car buyers rarely think in filters. They think "a white Citroen C3 Aircross, 2025, automatic" or "an SUV I can export to Nigeria". Carsooq's AI-powered search lets them type exactly that. The AI reads the request and returns the best matches from thousands of listings, with no filter panel to fight.
It works alongside the classic filters rather than replacing them: power users still have every spec at their fingertips, and everyone else just describes what they want.
What we built
- AI-powered search that turns a plain-language description into the best-matching listings.
- Detailed filters for price, year, mileage, cylinders, body type, fuel and drive type, transmission, regional specs, emission class, colour and features.
- Export tools, including export-only and on-request filters and a library of export guides.
- Side-by-side comparison of up to three cars.
- Dealer actions: request a quote, book a test drive or send an inquiry, with verified-dealer badges.
- A showroom directory and a sell-your-car flow for private sellers.
- English and Arabic throughout, with prices in AED, USD or EUR.

How it's built
Carsooq runs on Laravel with Livewire and Vite. Pages are rendered on the server so every listing, showroom and guide is fast to load and easy for search engines to index, while Livewire keeps filtering and comparison interactive without a heavy front end. The AI search runs on a large language model that maps a buyer's description onto the marketplace's real inventory, so results are always cars that are actually for sale.
